Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and baggage storage.
- Process payments accurately using hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Generate and review daily financial reports, including night audit reports and revenue summaries.
- Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety of guests and property throughout the night.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform minor maintenance repairs and coordinate with the maintenance department for larger issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or Night Auditor is preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
