As the Night Auditor, you serve as the face of our hotel during the evening hours. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest service while ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations. Responsibilities
- Perform check-ins and check-outs for guests arriving late at night with precision and professionalism.
- Balance daily financial reports and reconcile the Point of Sale system (POS) accurately.
- Monitor hotel premises to ensure guest safety and security during overnight hours.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for late-night arrivals.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints via phone or in-person, escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including mail distribution and wake-up calls.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or night audit is preferred.
- Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or similar software.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential for financial accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
