Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room changes during night hours.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises and lobby areas.
- Process wake-up calls, handle guest inquiries via phone or email, and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing the PMS system and generating financial reports.
- Monitor fire safety systems and emergency protocols to ensure guest safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the lobby and common areas.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks or coordinate with on-call engineering staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or a related field.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred.
