Responsibilities
- Manage overnight guest check-ins/check-outs with precision and warmth
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for operational readiness
- Handle guest inquiries and requests via phone/in-person with exceptional service
- Prepare daily reports for management on occupancy and incident logs
- Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for VIP guests
- Conduct regular guest area inspections and safety audits
- Assist with luggage handling and valet services during peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience required
- Valid New York State Security Guard License preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
