Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and problem-solving in a calm and professional manner.
- Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
- Perform light cleaning duties in the lobby and common areas to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Report maintenance issues and irregularities to the management team immediately.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and daily reports regarding guest activities and incidents.
- Answer phone calls and route messages efficiently to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
