Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 front desk coverage including check-ins/check-outs and guest assistance
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping for room status updates
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues promptly
- Operate reservation systems and manage billing transactions
- Conduct nightly property inspections and maintenance reports
- Assist with valet services and luggage handling during peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience
- Valid New York State Service Worker Permit
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic knowledge of PMS systems (Opera preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
