Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel's front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring efficient check-ins and check-outs.
- Process all guest payments and reconcile daily financial reports and night audit logs with 100% accuracy.
- Conduct regular security rounds to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including mail handling, wake-up calls, and room status updates.
- Maintain a pristine appearance of the lobby and front desk areas.
- Collaborate with day shift staff to ensure a seamless transition of information and guest needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Hospitality or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or night audit roles.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations calmly.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during quiet periods.
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
