Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences with warm professionalism
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and payment processing using our PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with solution-oriented approach
- Process payments, reconcile daily transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure seamless operations
- Uphold strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality of guest information
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and hotel amenities
- Maintain pristine lobby area and ensure front desk supplies are fully stocked
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service or front desk experience in hospitality industry
- Proficiency with reservation systems (Opera, FOSSE, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
- Basic knowledge of Memphis attractions and local area
- Valid Tennessee driver's license if required for errands
