Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using property management systems
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve service issues proactively
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and special packages to enhance guest stays
- Maintain pristine front desk and lobby areas
- Assist with event operations and banquet services as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera/Micros)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Michigan driver's license (for airport runs)
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including overnight shifts
