Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest assistance with local recommendations, reservations, and transportation
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining teams for seamless service
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and solution-oriented approaches
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Execute hotel-specific experiences (e.g., jazz tours, cooking classes)
- Uphold brand standards and cleanliness protocols
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of New Orleans attractions, culture, and transportation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification or ability to obtain
- Multi-lingual abilities (especially Spanish/French) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
