Responsibilities
- Technical Vision: Define and drive the architectural strategy for the 2026 roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term scalability.
- System Design: Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality, and continuous learning.
- Technical Debt Management: Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, refactor legacy systems, and establish best practices for system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Edge Computing, Serverless) and integrate them into the technology stack to drive competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural or technical leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Rust. Deep experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and making strategic trade-offs in high-pressure environments.
