Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization and pattern recognition tasks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures leveraging quantum advantage
- Conduct high-performance simulations of quantum systems using IBM Quantum, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate quantum phenomena into practical AI applications
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum AI frameworks like Qiskit Machine Learning and PennyLane
- Present research findings at premier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, CVPR) and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record in implementing quantum algorithms for real-world problems
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Quantum AI)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for interdisciplinary teams
