Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks using Qiskit and PennyLane
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Optimize AI algorithms for quantum advantage in real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Secure $1M+ in research grants through proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (MS with exceptional experience)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML with quantum algorithm implementation
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
