Responsibilities
- Architect and lead quantum-AI integration projects targeting 10x computational speedups
- Develop novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world deployment
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists, computer scientists, and domain experts
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research funding
- Author patents and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions across finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Establish ethical frameworks for quantum-AI applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum research
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and secure research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
