Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for exponential computational acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Architect neural networks optimized for quantum annealing systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grant funding
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in quantum machine learning
- Drive ethical AI frameworks for quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with 2+ qubit demonstrations
- Expertise in TensorFlow/PyTorch and quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published peer-reviewed papers in quantum machine learning
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in complexity theory and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of leading technical teams to commercialization
