Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead research in quantum neural networks and hybrid AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior researchers and develop open-source quantum AI frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants
- Present findings at major conferences like Q2B and NeurIPS
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and quantum neural networks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and statistical physics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
