Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and quantum data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into prototype systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum AI curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational theory
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or AI conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects from concept to execution
