Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen computational systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Author peer-reviewed publications on quantum AI advancements and their societal impact
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous quantum decision-making systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of experience implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum supremacy or AI breakthroughs
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable prototypes
- Strong background in ethics of autonomous systems
