Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks leveraging 1000+ qubit processors
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum neural networks
- Author breakthrough publications in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Collaborate with NASA/DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or ML models
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum machine learning (3+ papers)
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
