Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum algorithms for emerging processors
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment in quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum AI
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum algorithms (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and Python
- Published research in quantum machine learning or top-tier AI conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects
