Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for unsupervised learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-optimized AI models
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence effects
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $500K+ in annual government/grant funding
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Translate theoretical models into deployable cloud solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 2+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum platforms
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants
