Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with existing cloud infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum computing methodologies using Python and Qiskit
- Document technical specifications and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum computing best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and algorithm complexity
- Proven track record of publishing research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable engineering solutions
