- Optimization & Simulation: Utilize state-of-the-art simulators and hardware to optimize algorithmic performance and error correction strategies.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with hardware engineers and data scientists to integrate quantum modules into existing machine learning pipelines.
- R&D Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging quantum technologies, contributing to patents and whitepapers that define the industry standards for 2026 and beyond.
- Code Maintenance: Maintain rigorous code quality and documentation standards for all quantum software modules to ensure long-term maintainability.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Proven experience in quantum computing research or development, specifically using frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with deep understanding of linear algebra and probability theory.
- Tools: Familiarity with quantum software development kits (SDKs) and cloud-based quantum processors.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholder groups, from technical leads to executive leadership.
