Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum-classical computing interfaces
- Develop security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Conduct performance modeling and benchmarking of quantum processors
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction methodologies
- Present architectural blueprints to CTOs and government research panels
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum annealing systems
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting materials
