Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for industrial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning acceleration
- Lead quantum security implementations for next-gen encryption standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Security clearance for government-funded quantum initiatives
