Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Design error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Establish quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
- Partner with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 500 companies on quantum use cases
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum programming frameworks
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithms
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum materials science
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum systems
