Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in drug discovery and materials science
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for practical industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms on platforms like IBM Q or Rigetti
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, PyQuil)
