Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit scalability
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit coherence times
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Drive quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years quantum architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and complexity
