Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures with >1M qubit capacity
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $50M+ in government and private research grants
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy milestones
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing or advanced cryptography
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience securing $20M+ research funding
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Patents in quantum hardware or quantum-resistant cryptography
