Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead development of error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Create technical roadmaps aligning quantum capabilities with market demands
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum computing architectures or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
