Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity thresholds
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing environments
- Partner with AI teams to create quantum machine learning frameworks
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Author white papers on quantum computing advancements for industry conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or IEEE journals
