Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Design hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into cloud infrastructure (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to implement quantum-enhanced machine learning pipelines
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware-software co-design principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit compilation and qubit control systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems and control electronics
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Google Quantum AI)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmaps
