Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization problems with 10^9+ variable complexity
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, cryptographers, and ML engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit architectures
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
- Mentor PhD interns from MIT, Stanford, and Caltech quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations for quantum circuit optimization
- Experience securing DARPA/NASA quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum hardware control interfaces
