Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Lead integration of quantum processors with legacy cloud infrastructure
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Published papers in Nature/Science quantum computing topics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and low-latency networking
