Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Lead fault-tolerant qubit design and error correction protocol development
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical computing workflows
- Drive quantum applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and optimization
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm implementation
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
