Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise clients
- Lead the development of scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning algorithms
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for materials discovery
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and post-quantum cryptography standards
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped ion technologies
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
