Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale deployment
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption standards and security protocols
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for complex optimization problems
- Lead quantum algorithm development for machine learning and simulation applications
- Establish quantum computing performance benchmarks and validation frameworks
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cybersecurity and cryptographic principles
