Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for AI optimization and encryption
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum frameworks for complex computational problems
- Create quantum error mitigation protocols for industrial-scale deployments
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced R&D
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum annealing and NISQ-era systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract projects
