Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuit architectures for complex computational problems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum coherence in multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Document system specifications and performance benchmarks for stakeholder reviews
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles and hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware platforms
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical engineering solutions
- Certification in quantum systems architecture (e.g., IBM Quantum Professional)
