Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum error-correction protocols and system architectures
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of quantum circuits on real hardware
- Develop documentation and training materials for quantum computing best practices

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
- Publication record in quantum computing or relevant conferences
