Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale deployment
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Drive R&D in topological qubit systems and photonic quantum networks
- Collaborate with AI teams to implement quantum machine learning algorithms
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor quantum engineers and establish industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction (surface codes, color codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Ability to secure $10M+ in quantum research funding
