Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize real-world problem-solving
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and hardware-software co-design
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical roadmaps for product teams
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to validate architectural feasibility
- Author white papers and patents to establish industry thought leadership
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in error correction and quantum information theory
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
