Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures supporting 1M+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum error correction protocol optimization
- Architect quantum-safe cryptographic systems for financial institutions
- Create quantum algorithms for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature/Science
- Drive quantum computing standards development with IEEE
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (Rigetti, IBM Quantum, IonQ)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
- Proven track record of leading quantum computing projects with Fortune 100 clients
- Security clearance for quantum research initiatives
