Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Research and mitigate quantum error correction challenges in real-world systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing adoption across industries (finance, healthcare, logistics)
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons and prototyping sprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm design
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy demonstrations
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in parallel computing and high-performance systems
- Track record of translating complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
