Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for 2026-era computational challenges
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to overcome qubit coherence limitations
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Drive quantum hardware-software integration strategies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional teams
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong analytical skills for complex quantum state manipulation
- Certification in quantum computing or related field preferred
