Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum coherence times
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Drive open-source quantum framework initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proven experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum optimization
- Experience securing $5M+ in quantum research grants
