Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities
- Develop error-correction algorithms achieving >99.9% qubit fidelity
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead quantum security protocols resistant to Shor's algorithm attacks
- Architect quantum networks supporting 100+ node entanglement distribution
- Optimize quantum compilers for 5+ major hardware platforms
- Partner with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning accelerators
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum-resistant cryptography
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of building quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
