Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks achieving >99.9% qubit fidelity for 2026-scale quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics, drug discovery, and financial modeling
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Drive open-source quantum computing initiatives and contribute to industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier quantum computing journals
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and quantum simulators
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
