Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Define technical roadmaps for quantum computing platforms targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on quantum security initiatives
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published papers in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Track record of leading complex R&D projects from concept to prototype
