Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of executing Shor's algorithm at scale
- Lead quantum error correction protocols achieving <10^-9 logical error rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for real-world applications
- Collaborate with materials science teams to engineer novel qubit technologies
- Drive quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor quantum engineers in cutting-edge algorithms and optimization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and surface code implementations
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerators
- Track record of leading complex hardware/software integration projects
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning algorithms
